wine wednesday
A wine recommendation under £10 every Wednesday – except the last of the month which is a payday splurge. This week is so good, it's a PSA.

I know that publishing this on a Monday goes against the name of the feature, but the sheer bargainous nature of this week’s wine could not be held back for any longer.

More than just a recommendation, this is a public service announcement.

From today, for one week only (that is till Sunday 27th March), Morrison’s are slashing the price of their Adrien Chopin Brut Champagne down to £9.99 and IT IS BLOODY DELICIOUS.

This is an in-store deal only, so I’m keeping this article deliberately short so that you can immediately go to your local store and clear the shelves.

The Champagne itself smells like Bonne Maman apricot conserve, dried apple, lemon curd and brioche.

It’s a lovely richer, riper and more full-bodied style of champagne, with nice soft bubbles.

At this price, this is the best quality Champagne I have ever tasted.

Buy one for your Mum (it’s Mother’s Day on Sunday in case you have forgotten), one for you, one for your best friend, and one for next door’s dog.

RUN, DON’T WALK.
